Ok, let’s start off with what I  know all of you are already looking at HOW CUTE IS THEIR DOG! Oh my gosh, Lucy you sweet little goldendoodle you!! When Ami asked me if they could bring their dog to the session I was of course super pumped! I mean I am a dog lover myself, I have two rescues from AARCS so any excuse to cuddle a dog is a good one!

This session took place just around the end of fall in Edmonton, the leaves were  starting to turn and fall but the weather ended up being pretty nice for a late October evening in Alberta. We went to one of my fav spots in stony plain, range road 23 day park. Being from the island I love any opportunity to shoot near the water so I figured the Saskatchew River would do haha #notthesame

Ami and Jay were totally down to play and be goofy together, they didn’t mind my weird jokes and my third wheeling on getting those up close and personal shots haha

Near the end of the session Ami said she wanted to go into the water (ummm are these my people or are these my people!?!?!?) just as they were getting into the rather chill water with zero complaints we saw Lucy run up towards us, and she was absolutely COVERED in burs, I mean covered. We ended the session on that note and luckily Lucy had a date with the groomers the next day! Burs aside she was tuckered out from running around like a mad woman haha
