Adventurous Winter Engagement Session
Britt and I met over social media, which seems to be how I meet a lot of my future brides lately and we totally hit it off right away with our easy going and goofy nature. She told me that the most important thing on her wedding day was FUN, she wanted it to be a chill, relaxing day where she and Aj and their closest family and friends could just be themselves and have fun!
We had talked about engagement photos and she said if she could put in one request it was for that dreamy winter wonderland, no problem, we live in Edmonton, it always snows. Ummmm….fast forward to it not snowing until a few days before Christmas. I am pretty sure Vancouver Island got more snow than us. So we waited and we postponed a bit, I wanted her to get her wish and snow pictures are always super gorgeous! Finally the day of our session came and with a fresh snowfall a few nights before, we were set. Just one problem, it was -20, which is pretty darn cold!! BUT, the show must go on and so it did. We bundled up (well I did) and despite some super cold fingers and a numb upper lip (legit I couldn’t talk)….we did it. These two were a BLAST, they were so chill and trusted me and wanted to showcase their love in a fun and adventurous way…which is totally what I am all about! So of course I made them have an epic snow ball fight at the end of our session. Even in the cold temps these two didn’t skip a beat. Ladies and gentlemen … this is how its done!
Can’t wait for your wedding in September you lovers…we are going to have some FUN!
