Simple Romantic Living Room Ceremony
Christina and Danyal decided to postpone their summer wedding plans due to the pandemic but they didn’t let their dreams of a big wedding stop them from saying I do to one another; so they tossed out the rule book and made an evening that was true to them!
They picked a date that was meaningful to them, decided to get ready together and instead of a ring exchange they did a rose exchange picked from the brides bouquet and off they went to elope in their living room by having a small wedding ceremony with only their immediate family! It was a wedding they never knew they wanted but it was everything they needed… it was simple, heartfelt and perfect.
After their ceremony we adventured to a little field behind their house and took some blue hour photos and popped a bottle of champs to celebrate the special day!
“Cancelling our big wedding was heartbreaking in its own and this year in our general hasn’t been easy. Saying F it and getting married on a Tuesday was our way of taking back some control and making the best out of the hand we were dealt this year. We picked a special day to us, our 10 year anniversary and a special place- our living room! Nothing could be more meaningful to us than standing in the home we built together and moved into this year. It was our way of celebrating all the good we still have in our life while holding out hope for a big celebration next year.”
