Amy, Wade and Harper; Beautiful Summer Sunset Family Session
Spruce Grove, AB
With summer coming to an end, I have had a lot of inquires lately for summer ending family sessions! It had me thinking about one of my favourite family sessions that I did in Spruce Grove at sunset. I know it’s tough sometimes to organize sunset family photos with a little but oh boy, is it ever worth it. I am so thankful that families like Amy and Wade trust me and push those bed times for that gorgeous light. I am also very thankful for little harper who had a great attitude for the evening – it’s tough with kiddos, trust me I get it I am a mom to a very independent toddler, but, I am so glad they trusted in me and we gave it a whirl because honestly it turned out awesome!
For family sessions especially around sunset or past bed time, I make sure to work fast, stay cheerful and allow kids to be kids; most importantly letting them just be! Ok but also bringing parent approved snacks for rewarding kids with listening and putting up with me and my camera is never a bad idea LOL
*Tip* I also encourage parents to let your littles know that they are going to do photos ahead of time, prep them and even cuddle up with them to show them what they might be doing! I will even ask parents to show their kids a photo of me beforehand so when we meet for the first time, they might already feel like they know me! Each kid is different and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t – but it’s worth a try!
I am here as a photographer to help you with all things outfits, location and lighting – this is what I do and I want to make sure you get the most out of your session. Bottom line the time we spend together is relaxed, natural to who you are as a family and I do everything I can to make sure that your experience is FUN!
Have any questions about sessions? Let me know, I am always open to chatting and giving you my advice for how to prep for your session and don’t shy away from that sunset light guys…..it is the best!
Thanks for a great evening friends so thankful for you!
