I feel so lucky to be able to document my close friends intimate wedding last year in beautiful Parry Sound Ontario. It was my first time visiting and was it ever GORGEOUS! Fall in Ontario is absolutely stunning and I think Emily and James chose the most perfect spot to commit their lives to one another.
Navigating through the Pandemic definitely brought on challenges for them; originally their plan was to get married in Jasper National Park, where they got engaged, but ultimately they decided what felt best was getting married locally with their close family surrounding them. Once they committed to the plan, things began to fall into place so swiftly for them. I find that’s what happens with the universe, it just knows what is best and once you allow for yourself to truly listen to your gut and heart on what you want…well things just become easier.
The cabin they picked was so perfect, it was right on the lake and the property had so many hidden gems for everyone to enjoy the space and the beautiful Ontario fall. They kept it simple with minimal meaningful decor and had their whole family pitch in and prepare dinner! We even got to sneak out for Canoe ride after the ceremony which was amazing! It was simple, heartfelt and truly a perfect intimate wedding! Despite all the changes, I believe this was the wedding day they wanted and more!
