Sunrise Couples Session Moraine Lake – Banff National Park

Jesse and Beth were supposed to get married in 2020 but alas 2020 well it had other plans. To honour their would-have-been wedding date, they adventured to Banff for a sunrise shoot at Moraine Lake. This is their adventure story.
We met up early morning, way before the sun had risen over the mountains to ensure a spot in the parking lot ( if you’ve ever been to Moraine Lake you know how insanely busy it can be) and ventured to the summit to catch that morning glow. Beth was barefoot and got dressed in the cover of the trees to surprise Jesse with her beautifully custom made gown designed by Michelle of Enchanted Ever After and hand dyed fabric by The Lovli Co and to say he was breathless by how absolutely stunning she looked…well that’s an understatement. The two shared in an emotional moment as they hugged and watched the sun begin to rise over the mountains and we continued our morning maneuvering through the rocks and watching the sky turn all shades of pink!
I am incredibly honoured to have been asked to document this special adventure for these two wonderful humans. To celebrate your love, how far you have come and how deep your bond is together. You two are truly soulmates.
