I was so lucky to have been able to meet Kaitlyn and Devryn, they are two of the sweetest and down to earth humans. When they reached out asking if I would be interested in documenting their backyard elopement and then a surprise party later with all their family and friends to say ” WE GOT MARRIED” I didn’t even think twice, it was a HECK YES! It was so hard to keep a straight face when all their friends showed up later, we pretended that I was hired to do their engagement photos and was there to take some candids of the party.
My favourite moment of the day was when Kaitlyn and Devryn surprised her grandparents at their home and told them they had just gotten married! It was so sweet, they had some champagne and then looked through old wedding photos 🙂
Thank you so much for including me in your special day, it truly was so beautiful from sharing your elopement with your parents to the celebration with your family and friends, it was a wonderful way to say I do. I wish you both years of happiness and love – keep making each other laugh and getting that pump on in the gym
*fun fact, kaitlyn did pull ups in her wedding dress in a tree in her backyard, I wish I had photos but this was a little later in the night haha**
